A quick hello from Harvey and Henri!
Sorry to all my friends - I know it's been a while since I last blogged,but having a little brother to look after and entertain every day is hard work! Whew! -no-one told me that it would be a full time job ....all the wrestling and chasing is exhausting,believe me.
I have to say though,that Henri has changed my life in all kinds of ways .....
walking on a coupler lead? - what's that all about?
realising that Henri doesn't cry in the car (show off!) and making me look like a bit of a baby.
being chased around the garden and having a basset work out when I SHOULD be sitting in the sun relaxing....
....okay,okay.... it's not ALL bad.....
another fauve to play with - hunting for treats together in the garden- being able to blame someone else for any wet puddles IN the house ( the ones outside? I HATE them- and know THEY have nothing to do with Henri!!)
best of all though is the feeling that we have our own little hound pack now .....I LOVE IT!!....excuse me while I paws for thought - I might need Sam's help to add pics ....?

Meet Henri - my new brother!
Hi blogger friends ....well ....he's finally here!!
Remember I told you how I was waiting -AND WAITING- for my new brother to arrive?
Well....it finally happened last weekend.
I knew something was going on when mum and dad went off on Saturday afternoon and said they were going to stay in Marlborough before going to see dog mum and dad,Liz and Bruce the next day.
I couldn't wait for Sunday to come!
Around 5.00pm I heard the garden gate and went into the garden....
WOW! There was this little version of ME - just standing there, with his tail wagging faster than mine!
We had a good sniff of each other and a few cuddles ( check out the photos) - I was already loving him SO much .... I just couldn't leave him alone!

Apologies!
Hello again,blogger friends!
I have just been checking over the comments you've all been sending me over the last few years and realised that I hadn't thanked you all properly!
. I should be wearing the "Collar of Shame" -most definitely!(watch the film "Up" and you'll know what I mean!!)
You've said such lovely things to me and all I can do is send huge woofs,licks and snuffles....you all deserve for me to jump up and give you the biggest and bounciest fauve greeting ever!
Thank you all SO much...in return I promise to work my paws to the bone and keep up with my regular blogs this year....well...... Henry (my new brother!) won't be able to even REACH the computer for ages,so I'll keep you all posted about HIS adventures,too!
Special thanks to my dog-mother,Liz.(I can't wait to see you and dog-dad Bruce later this year.)
I promise to look after Henry as best I can and report back to you on how well he's behaving(misbehaving!)
Of course,I'm the grown up sensible one now,so I shall show him the ropes ....not sure what mum meant when she caught me on the BACK of the sofa earlier and said something about me having so many beds and why would I need to get up THERE!.. humans...they just don't get that we LIKE being high up so that we can keep an eye on everything!
